When Honolulu’s Galliard String Quartet plays a concert, tickets normally go for around $30. For one night only, the people of Molokai will be able to enjoy this world-renowned string quartet for free.

The quartet performs at Father Damien Church in Kaunakakai on Monday, April 28, at 7 p.m. The following day they will perform for Molokai High School and Middle School.

Join them for an informative and entertaining evening of beautiful music including favorite classical and Hawaiian selections. It should be a perfect evening for the whole family!

The Galliard String Quartet was formed by a group of serious music students and regularly features both classical and contemporary composers. The group has played for wedding receptions, parties and fund-raising events. Members of the quartet are also involved with the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Baroque Sinfonia.
