A Molokai workshop on protecting pollinators during pesticide applications will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. March 28 at the University of Hawaii Maui College Molokai farm classroom.
The state Department of Agriculture is presenting the course, which focuses on minimizing the impact by farmers on pollinators, such as bees. The course will look at balancing pesticide applications with protection of pollinators.
The course is $50 for pesticide applicators seeking credit. The workshop is free to all others.
