The softball and baseball teams from St. Anthony came to Molokai over the weekend for two games but rain on Saturday limited them to playing one game apiece.
On Friday, Molokai sophomore pitcher Nohi Meyer beat St. Anthony 3-2 with 10 strikeouts and only three walks. For the Farmers, David Rapanot, Trevor Takata and Brayden Willing-McCutcheon each had one hit to lead Molokai.
In softball, the lady Farmers trounced St. Anthony 13-4. Amanda Venegas-Makaiwi was Molokai’s winning pitcher. Venegas-Makaiwi also contributed with three hits. Kaitlin Kim hit a home run for Molokai.
