Holiday performance comes to Molokai Library tomorrow

In celebration of the holiday season, “Sugar Plum Fairies & Teddy Bear-ies” will be presented at eight Maui, Molokai and Lanai public libraries this month.

This special holiday event comes to the Molokai Public Library tomorrow, Wednesday, at 3 p.m. Call 553-1765 for more information.

“Sugar Plum Fairies & Teddy Bear-ies,” an interactive, family story and music extravaganza, features Peter and Melinda Wing, aka “Uncle Bwop” and “Auntie Melinda.” The husband-and-wife duo of storytellers and musicians will share stories, songs and skits about this magical time of the year.

The 45-minute program is free and suitable for ages 3 and older. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Children are encouraged to dress in costume and bring their favorite fairy or Teddy Bear.
