Kalaupapa trail closed by mudslides

The recent heavy mauka rains set off a mudslide making the pali trail to Kalaupapa unsafe. Superintendent of the Kalaupapa National Historic Park, Steve Prokop, said that no one should attempt to climb down the trail, which is now badly eroded in parts.
