The keiki of Molokai joined the kupuna yesterday for project Ulu La’au, designed to educate the families of Tutu and Me Traveling Preschool about the importance of trees to our environment. Teri Waros officially resigned from her position as a Molokai Planning Commissioner yesterday. At the regular meeting of the Molokai Planning Commission, acting chairman, Steve Chaikin, announced that Waros had sent a letter to Maui County Mayor Charmaine Tavares offering her resignation.
