A Maui Interscholastic League round-robin wrestling tournament took place Saturday at King Kekaulike Gym in Maui. This was the first MIL wrestling competition of the season for Molokai and Lanai.
The Farmers had three champions out of the 152 wrestlers in the meet. Kevin Dudoit was champion at 135 pounds. Two female competitors — Michal Torres-Umi at 120 pounds and Charisse Manley 130 pounds — were also champions.
Other wrestlers to earn points for Molokai were, for the girls: 98 pounds in third place Mikayla Pico and at 125 pounds in second was Kaulana Rose Akaka.
For the boys, they were: 108 pounds, fourth place was Sereno Dudoit-Enos; at 125 pounds in third place Paul Valdez; 120 pounds, second, Kailen Inouye; 130 pounds, third place, Kamalani Bicoy; 135 pounds Simon Blair was second to Dudoit; 152 pounds, Delfin Corpuz was second and at 189 pounds Kiley Johnston finished fourth.of

My son is a 3 time MIL champion — 2000 (152), 2001 (160) and 2002 (171).
