For those who would like to shoot fireworks tonight, permits are still available at the county office at the Mitchell Pau’ole Center for $25.
The office is open till 4:30 p.m. today and only 61 permits will be issued to Molokai. Fireworks can legally be set off tonight only between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Violators are subject to fines up to $2,000.
